This year, I turn 50. With that milestone came reflection—and a strong desire to mark it in a way that truly mattered. Not with a party centered on me, but by celebrating 50 women whose stories mirror what so many of us share: rising after falling, claiming our space, and realizing our value.
HER RISE đź’«Â was created from that shared understanding.
It is a celebration of growth. Of earned confidence. Of visibility that feels aligned, authentic, and powerful.

I believe women are powerful, accomplished, and worthy of being seen—fully and confidently—at every stage of their journey. My work is rooted in helping women recognize their value and reflect it back to them through imagery that feels authentic, elevated, and deeply personal.
Every session I create is intentional. It’s not about posing or performing—it’s about honoring who you are, how far you’ve come, and the presence you bring into the world. My goal is for you to see yourself with pride, clarity, and renewed confidence.
You don’t need to know how to prepare or how to show up—that’s my role. I’ll guide you every step of the way so you feel supported, comfortable, and empowered throughout the experience.

Empowering Portraits is located in downtown St. Louis, Missouri. Our 2,000 sq ft private studio loft provides a luxurious and comfortable space designed to help you feel confident, relaxed, and empowered throughout your Personal Branding experience.

HER RISE is an intentional personal branding portrait experience designed to celebrate your journey, presence, and confidence as a woman in business. It is for women who are ready to be seen—whether you’re leading a company, building a business, or stepping into a new chapter with clarity and pride. Every woman, regardless of title or industry, deserves imagery that reflects her value, credibility, and the woman she has become.

Is professional hair and makeup included?
Yes. Every HER RISE branding session includes professional hair and makeup styling to help you feel confident, polished, and fully yourself in front of the camera. Your stylist will work with you to create a look that aligns with your personal style, your business, and how you want to be seen—whether that’s natural and refined or bold and expressive. This part of the experience allows you to arrive relaxed and prepared, ensuring your final images reflect your presence with clarity and confidence.

What should I wear for my session?
Wear pieces that reflect who you are and how you want to be seen. For your HER RISE session, a personal stylist will guide you every step of the way—helping you select outfits from your own wardrobe that align with your business, personality, and goals. Together, you’ll curate looks that feel confident, polished, and authentic, whether that means tailored and refined or relaxed and lifestyle-driven. Styling support continues through your pre-session consultation, so you never have to guess or stress about what to wear.

How will I know how to pose for the pictures?
You don’t need to be a model or have any prior experience to be part of HER RISE. Throughout your session, you’ll be fully guided—so you never have to wonder how to stand, what to do, or how to look. I’ll direct you into natural, flattering poses that feel effortless and authentic, whether we’re creating polished editorial portraits or relaxed lifestyle images that reflect your real life and work. The result is a collection of images that feel genuine, confident, and beautifully elevated.

WHERE WILL THE PHOTO SESSION TAKE PLACE?
HER RISE sessions are photographed both in studio and on location. Your studio portraits provide clean, polished, editorial imagery, while your on-location session brings your story to life in a meaningful setting of your choice—your office, home, favorite coffee shop, a park with your family, or alongside your beloved pet. This combination creates a well-rounded image library that feels both elevated and real, reflecting who you are and how you live and work.

What happens after the session?
Approximately 5-7 days after your session, we’ll invite you back to the studio to reveal your stunning images.
You can purchase the images and products you love from our collection of heirloom-quality artworks, including albums, prints, wall art, and more. Images are available as digital files as well. Collections start at $1,800.

WHEN WILL HER RISE đź’« MAGAZINE AND EXHIBITION TAKE PLACE?
The HER RISE💫 magazine and exhibition cocktail celebration will take place once all 50 women have been photographed. This is a thoughtfully curated project, and completion will take time. We appreciate your patience—and your excitement—as we bring this collective celebration to life.
