About Your Portrait Session Experience
There is a time and place for candid photographs and then there are captivating, timeless, and creative portraits you are your legacy will cherish beyond a lifetime. At Empowering Portraits studio we are proud of all the wonderful memories created for our clients and those they love most. Our portrait experiences are fun, full of pampering and empowering moments.
Our portrait session booking fee starts at $350 and includes:
- Wardrobe Consultation and Styling
- Up to three wardrobe changes
- Professional Hair and Makeup for one person
- Fully Guided Photo Shoot
- Artistic Retouching
- Portraits Reveal
Images are offered separately. Portrait Collections begin at $1,800 and many of our clients invest around $2,800 when they see their images at the portrait reveal. A La Carte prices start at $275 for a 5×7 portrait in digital and printed format, and we offer as well Albums and Wall Enlargements. Payment Plans are available. There is no obligation to purchase. Your image selection is your choice. It is our job to create portrait memories that you absolutely LOVE so you want to have them all.

Our seniors begin their day being pampered by our in-studio hair and makeup artist who will bring to life the look they chose for their senior session. We’ll start in the studio for some modern and fun indoor images, then we head out to the St. Louis urban and creative background where they have a true model experience.

The Portrait Session Timeline

First, let’s talk. We offer complimentary 15 min consultations and explain in detail our session and services. Once we choose a date, we embark on a journey of building this fabulous experience tailored to you. We’ll assist you in your wardrobe selections and we have a few studio wardrobe choices available for you as well (from xs to xl sizes). Make this day into a special occasion celebrating the love you and your family share. P.S. Pets are always welcome.

On the day of the session, you and your family, two and four-legged just have to show up and we’ll take it from there. Our make-up and hair artist will take care of pampering you while you sip on your glass of bubbly and enjoy some strawberries. Are you thinking about how your little ones, two and four-legged will do? Don’t worry if everything isn’t perfect, that’s why we are here.

About 7-10 days after the session, we’ll have your premiere, in person or over zoom. This is where you’ll be able to see the best of the best and choose your favorite images as well as anything you’ll want to display on your walls and in your home. We’ll guide you through all the options and will ensure you are happy with your choice.

In about two-three weeks we’ll call and notify you that your art is ready. We are happy to deliver them or you may pick them up from our studio. Framed Prints might require up to three weeks for delivery.
